ButoCultur@, ha ospitato,
a Buto, gli studenti
dell'Università di Nottingham
che si trovano nel nostro
territorio per studiare sulla
civiltà del castagno il tutto
relazionato assieme agli amici
di Carro, Maurizio e Silvia,
sulle tipologie di uva coltivate
nella zona e sui piccoli
mammiferi che vivono nel
territorio, anche qui appoggiati
da Sergio, Sandro, Maurizio e
Silvia.
Gli studenti hanno visitato il
seccatoio di Iolanda che ha
mostrato loro gli attrezzi per
la battitura delle castagne.
Elide e Nelly hanno poi
preparato le frittelle di farina
di castagne che gli studenti
hanno apprezzato assieme al
salame, al formaggio, alla
focaccia e ai dolci. Un grazie
anche a Leandro, Fulvio e
Andreino per la collaborazione.
Gli accompagnatori hanno
ringraziato e dato appuntamento
al prossimo anno con altri
studenti inglesi e con altri
argomenti da sviluppare. |

students of the University of
Nottingham who are in our valley
to study the chestnut culture
with the Carro friends, Maurizio
and Silvia. They also studied
the various types of vines in
the areas and small mammals,
even in this case assisted by
Sergio, Sandro, Maurizio and
Silvia. The students visited
Iolanda’s chestnut shed and were
shown the tools for drying and
selecting chestnuts. Elide and
Nelly prepared chestnut’s fried
pancakes which the students
enjoyed with salami, cheese,
focaccia and other desserts.
